Gail Prauss Interior Design, Ltd. is an award winning Interior Design firm located in Oak Park, but servicing all of Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, as well as Vero Beach, South Florida.
Gail Prauss Interior Design was looking to update their web site to better reflect their business. One of the main concerns was to have a better gallery to showcase their designs. On the technical side JavaScript was used to manipulate the Document Object Model to create a dynamic gallery. Basically this means best web practices where used to make sure the coding is separate from the actual html page, making it easier to download the page and update the look in years to come. Gail Prauss believes that people shouldn't feel disconnected from the process and wants people to feel that Interior Design is a partnership with the customer. Thus a banner area providing quotes of her design philosophy were created for every page.
